This second video about soccer plyometrics is a valuable tool to
expand your knowledge of how to do plyometrics for soccer while
incorporating the ball.
This drill incorporates lots of movement and jumping over short barriers. My recommendation is that you progress to this level. Although the barrier is not that tall, systematically working your way up the plyometric intensity ladder would should start with jumping up on objects. This will remove the pounding that a soccer player takes by jumping up and over objects. It allows the athlete to progress to higher levels of soccer plyometrics while minimizing the possibility of injury. |
