    The opposite cone soccer agility drill is designed to provide players with the ability to develop agility while requiring the athlete to think. As you run through this agility drill the player must knock down soccer cones.  The trick is that the player cannot knock down a cone that is next to the other.    
Setup

There are 8 cones around the outside with one cone on the inside.  The cones are setup 5 yards out from the inside cone.  Look at the picture below for the setup. 

How to perform the opposite cone soccer agility drill

To perform the soccer agility drill the player starts in the middle then runs to any cone he/she wants and knocks that cone down.  Then the player need to run back to the middle of the soccer drill and touch the middle cone. After touching the middle cone the soccer player will then need to run to another cone that is not immediately to the right or to the left of the cone.  The player must run to a cone and knock it down that is not immediately next to the cone he just knocked down.  The objective of this soccer agility drill is to know down all the outside cones in as short a period of time while only knocking down cones that are not next to each other.
